# Verified hiring

Use hiring on Sureshake to find and apply for roles, or to post a role and work through the applications it receives.

A role sets out the job, the problems candidates respond to, and how responses will be assessed. Candidates apply with written responses, and both sides follow the application through the same statuses: **Submitted**, **In Review**, **Evaluated**, then **Hired** or **Rejected**.

> Sureshake does not check a candidate's responses or a company's description of
> a role. The **Verified** badge on a company refers only to Sureshake's
> verification of that company.
