# Choose your path

Pick the description closest to what you want to do today. You can do more than one of these with the same account.

## I'm building a company's track record

You want to publish reports on your company and share them with investors, lenders or partners.

Start with the [founders guide](/founders/). When you are ready to set things up, go to [Company setup](/founders/company-setup/).

## I'm evaluating companies

You invest, lend or advise, or someone has shared a report with you.

Start with [Evaluating companies](/investors/evaluating-companies/). If you already know which companies you care about, go to [Following and access](/investors/following-and-access/).

## I'm publishing to or improving the directory

Choose the one that matches where you are:

| You want to | Start with |
| --------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| Take over the existing profile of your organization | [Claim your profile](/directory/claim-your-profile/) |
| Put your company in the directory | [Publish your company](/directory/publish-your-company/) |
| Add to or correct directory records | [Contribute to the directory](/directory/contribute/) |

## I'm looking for a job or hiring

- Looking for a role: [Candidates](/hiring/candidates/)
- Filling a role: [Recruiters](/hiring/recruiters/)

## I'm building on the API

To call the API or connect an assistant, start with the [developer quickstart](/developers/quickstart/). The [API reference](/reference/) lists the published endpoints.

## I want to check a report or a claim

You have a report or an attestation and want to know what it proves. Read [How proof works](/trust/how-proof-works/), then [Verify attestations](/trust/verify-attestations/).
