Connect an assistant with MCP

Give an MCP-compatible assistant read-only access to your reports.

The report connector lets your assistant find reports, read authorized report context, and retrieve evidence with citations. It uses the same report permissions as Sureshake. The connector does not create, change, publish, or delete reports.

This initial release must be enabled by your deployment operator. It requires an MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP and a pre-registered confidential OAuth client with PKCE. Obtain the endpoint, client ID, and client secret from the operator; keep the secret in the client's credential settings.

  1. Add the supplied MCP endpoint to your assistant.
  2. Configure the supplied OAuth client credentials.
  3. Connect and sign in to Sureshake.
  4. Review the application name and approve read access to your reports.
  5. Ask your assistant to find a report or retrieve its evidence.

Access expires after one hour. Reconnect when prompted. You can end access earlier at OAuth connections (/oauth/connections) in the Sureshake app. A failed disconnect shows an error; access may remain active until you retry successfully or it expires.

Returned evidence comes from available report content. It is not newly generated AI analysis, and unavailable sections are identified in the tool result.
