How Sureshake directory profiles work — reference profiles, claiming, trust and provenance, and permissioned access.
The Sureshake public directory lists people and organizations as profiles. A profile can exist in two fundamentally different modes:
- A reference profile is assembled by Sureshake from cited public information. It is useful before it is claimed, and it is clearly labeled as not managed by the organization.
- A managed profile is controlled by an authorized representative of the organization, who can maintain public facts, file reports, and configure permissioned sharing.
Directory status language is precise and neutral: it describes what Sureshake has or has not verified — never a judgment of the listed organization.
