Use the Capital graph tab on a company page to see who backs the company, which of those investors invest together, and whether anyone you know works at one of them.
The graph shows relationships Sureshake has recorded from investor and company websites. It doesn’t confirm that an investment happened. Each line carries a stored confidence, so read a faint line as a weaker claim.
The three views
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Investors | The company in the center, its investors around it, and peer companies that share those investors. |
| Syndicates | The same investors, linked where they’ve invested in the same companies. Thicker lines mean more shared companies. |
| Your path | You in the center, your connections at the company’s investors, those investor firms, and the company. You need to be signed in to see this. |
On an investor’s page, the first view is called Portfolio. It shows the investor’s portfolio companies and the co-investors in them.
Read the graph
- Line thickness in Syndicates counts shared companies.
- Line opacity reflects stored confidence. A faint line is a weaker claim than a solid one.
- High-confidence edges only hides relationships with a stored confidence below 0.7.
- The line under the graph counts investors, peer companies, and co-investment pairs. It says showing the strongest relationships when some have been left out.
Sub-funds that belong to the same investor can be folded into one node.
Explore it

Signed in or signed out
Signed-out visitors see only relationships Sureshake has reviewed for public display or that carry a cited source. If a company has none, the tab asks you to sign in.
Signed-in members see the wider set of relationships Sureshake has recorded, plus Your path.
If Your path is empty
A path needs someone you’re connected to, working at an investor firm that has been claimed on Sureshake, who has joined its team there. Until then the view says so and links to your Network.
If the tab says No investor relationships yet, Sureshake hasn’t recorded any for the company. Relationships appear as investor portfolios and company sources are researched.
