Use the Directory Visibility switch to list your company in the directory and give it a public page at /c/your-company. You need permission to manage the company’s directory listing. Owners have it.
Publishing doesn’t publish private filings or grant access to permissioned material.

Fill in your public facts
In your company workspace, go to Control › Entity Info and open the Public profile tab. Only what you fill in is shown. Missing facts stay absent.
Turn on Directory Visibility
The Directory Visibility card is beside your settings, and also on the Marketplace Profile Settings page. Turning on the switch publishes a snapshot of your public facts.
Check the result
Choose View public profile and read the page the way a visitor would.
What the card is telling you
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Company is not public yet | Nothing has been published. Your public page doesn’t exist for visitors. |
| Company is public | You’re listed in the directory and your public page is live. |
| Company is hidden | You withdrew the company. Turning the switch back on restores the record. |
| Company page in review | Sureshake hasn’t released this company yet. See the next section. |
| Visible once released | Your switch is on, and the company is still in review. |
| Visibility locked by moderation | The listing is blocked or archived. You can’t change the switch until that’s lifted. |
Companies in review
A company you create through Company intake goes through a Sureshake review, and Sureshake releases it to the directory. While that’s happening, the card shows Company page in review.
Don’t rely on the review to keep a company private. If it should stay private, leave the switch off.
Sureshake can also publish a company it has reviewed. That release and your switch act on the same listing, so you can still withdraw the company afterwards unless moderation has locked it.
What the public page shows
| Published | Not published |
|---|---|
| Name, logo, and location | Legal entity name and registration number |
| Tagline and business description | Internal description |
| Industry, company size, and founded year | Private financial values and private filings |
| Website and social links | |
| Achievements and certifications |
Direct email, Direct phone, and Street address stay hidden unless you turn them on under Sensitive fields in the listing manager.
Update your public page
Your public page reads the snapshot you last published, not your live settings. An edit reaches it only after you republish.
- While you’re public, saving Company Settings republishes for you. The confirmation reads Saved and republished.
- If republishing fails, you’ll see Saved, but the public profile was not refreshed. Turn Directory Visibility off and on to try again.
- If you change your record elsewhere, your workspace overview shows Published profile is behind the record. Save Company Settings to republish.
Public pages are cached, so allow up to 15 minutes for a change to appear.
Change the page’s sections
Choose Manage Directory listing on the card to open the listing manager. There you can choose Visible sections, set Sensitive fields, check the Exact public preview, and choose Publish new version. Save draft keeps your changes without publishing them.
Withdraw your company
Turn off Directory Visibility. The company leaves the directory and its public page stops resolving, though a cached copy can take up to 15 minutes to clear. Earlier published versions are kept, so you can restore the record by turning the switch back on.
Settings that don’t publish anything
- Consent to public records. This lets Sureshake access public records about your company to verify its information. It doesn’t put your company in the directory.
- Visibility on individual startup profile fields (such as Public, Follower, Capital, or Diligence). These set who can see a field. They don’t publish the company.
